Abstract

National Examination is a measurement of passing standard with the achievement of predetermined value targets and play a very important role as a quality control on the quality of national education in Indonesia. The cognitive aspect measured in the National Examination question refers to the educational objectives of Bloom's Taxonomy cognitive domain. The purpose of this study is to obtain profile information about the National Examination of science junior high school in 2014-2016 based on HOTS perspective. The method used in this research is the documentation by using the validity of member data check.. The results of this study indicated that the National Examination’s perspective HOTS in 2014 was (20%), the National Exam in 2014 was (15%) and the National Examination 2015 was (27.5%), ), so it can be concluded that the problem is still low.
