Abstract

This study aims to identify the use of hyperbola and hyperbole forms of meaning used in the discourse of "Ah Tenane" in the Solopos newspaper both implicitly and explicitly. The object studied in this study is a sentence or phrase in the rubric "Ah Tenane". The research method used is the agih method that the tool of its determiners are in the object of study. The result of the first analysis, the hyperbolic form of verb used in the discourse of "Ah Tenane" there are several forms of hyperbola simile, metaphor, sinedok, symbolic, and metonomy belonging to the adversary of conflict. Secondly, the meaning in the rubric of "Ah Tenane" mostly comes from the experience of society sent to the editor of Solopos. Therefore, no wonder the plot is so close and inherent in everyday life. Of the several meanings that researchers have examined, the discourse of "Ah Tenane" raises moral, social, cultural, and alert education in various activities.
