Abstract
This study aims to find out the full day school management based on Islam: (1) What is the perception of principal and gurutentang management system full day school based on Islam in MI Muhammadiyah Special Program Kartasura, (2) How is the readiness factor of school principals and teachers about full day school management Based on Islam in MI Muhammadiyah Special Program Kartasura, (3) How is the obstacles and its solution about implementing management of using Islamic full day school system. This research belongs to descriptive qualitative research. Informants in this research are principal, lower and upper class teachers at Mi Muhammadiyah Special Program Kartasura. Data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, then draw conclusion. Technique examination of data validity by using triangulation of source and technique. The results showed that teachers considered that full day school-based Islam is a school all day to educate students with various learning as well as appropriate interests and talents of students and religious learning. Preparations undertaken by teachers and principals is by supervising the principal and training of teachers, as well as completing supporting facilities and infrastructure in learning. Constraints faced in the implementation of Islamic full-day school is the lack of time in socialization and training and the lack of teacher methods in delivering the material
