Abstract
The research aims to analyze and test: (1) differences in the effect of learning strategies with Problem Based Learning and Two Stay Two Stray on the learning outcomes of mathematics, (2) differences in the effect of student learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes, (3) differences in interaction effects between strategies Learning and motivation of student learning toward mathematics learning result. This research is a quantitative research with quasi experimental design. The population of this study is all students of class VIII SMP N 23 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017. The sample of this study consists of two classes, namely as an experimental class and control class with sampling technique in this study using cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques were conducted with tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The analytical technique used a two-way cell variance analysis was not equal to a significance level of 5%. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is influence of learning strategy of Problem Based Learning and Two Stay Two Stray to the result of learning mathematics, (2) there is influence of student's learning motivation toward mathematics learning result, (3) no interaction effect between learning strategy Problem Based Learning and Two Stay Two Stray in terms of student's learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes.
