Abstract

Home industry Mie Soun Betty is mie soun production which located in Manjung Klaten, Central Java. In processing of mie soun production through 4 stages of work station that is sedimentation station, cooking station, printing station, and finishing station. The processing production of mie soun has done manually can be caused unconfort body posture. This posture, if has done continuously can facilitate the occurance of injury to the body temporarily or even can occur injury in the long term. Based on the set of problems that experienced by Home industry Mie Soun Betty, the researcher commits the analysis of body work posture in operator/worker which as a purpose to minimize the existence of works accident during the activity. Based on the set of problems which experienced, the researcher will commit the analysis of body work posture in operator/worker use Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method which aims to know the disturbance/problem experienced in upper limbs and Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire to know about muscle complaint in the worker’s limbs. The results that obtained based on the processing of data on each work station using RULA method still reqires immediate action, while after doing action level improvement decreased that is action level 2 (small) and action level 1 (minimum). While processing based on the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire shows that frequent complaints which experienced by the worker/operator are on the upper limb and indicate that sex, age, and work duration have different level of complaint.
