Abstract
Learning is a change in the disposition or ability someone achieves through activity. Without any activity the learning process may not take place properly. Howver, the facts that student learning activities are still low. The purpose of this research is to increase student learning activity of mathematics by implementing cooperative learning model type: Make A Match. This study is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively between researchers and teachers of mathematics. The subject of this study is a student class VII A which amounted to 21 students. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, field notes, test methods, documentation. The research results obtained data that there is an increase in student learning activities mathematics. It can be seen from the following data: 1) Paying attention from before the action there are 10 students (47.62%) after the action increased to 18 students (85.71%), 2) Inquire from before action there were 2 students (9.5%) after the action was increased to 17 students (80,95%), 3) Answering the question from before action there were 4 students (19,05%) after given action Increased to 13 students (61.9%), 4) Dismissed opinions before action 2 students (9.5%) after action increased to 11 students (52.38%), and 5) Problem solving before action 8 Students (38.09%) after given action increased to 18 students (85,71%).
