Abstract
This study aims to improve the cognitive abilities of children group B in RA Islam Sukorame academic year 2016/2017 through drawing activities. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). Subjects in this study were students of group B age 5-6 years Kec. Musuk Kab. Boyolali academic year 2016/2017. This meeting is held on 2 cycles in 4 meetings. The procedure of this study there are four stages of action planning, action implementation, bservation or observation, and reflection. Data on cognitive abilities of children and teaching and learning process with drawing activities were collected through observation and umentation methods. This research uses triangulation method by earching data from various data sources. Based on the results of the action cycle I, II that has been implemented showed rovement cognitive ability of students group B RA Islam Sukorame academic year 2016/2017. Before the implementation of the cycle results obtained 50%, cycle I reached 70%, and cycle II 85%. The conclusion of this research that through drawing activity can improve cognitive ability of children in group B RA Islam Sukorame academic year 2016/2017.
