Abstract

For the industry, research about job satisfaction are performed for the economical benefit , i.e. the reduction of production costs and increasing the production that generated by increases productivity. Therefore is very important for a company to know and to find factors of employees’s job satisfaction. One of the factors that affect job satisfaction is the perception toward of transformational leadership style. The aim of this research is to know the relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership style with job satisfaction. Subjects in this study were employees of the Koperasi Bhakti Group, a branch of Blora amount of 100 employees. Sampling technique was purposive non random sampling, in which the subjects group who made the research sample is taken base on certain traits. The measuring instrument that is used, namely: (1) the scale of perception towards of transformational leadership style, and (2) the scale of the job satisfaction. Data analysis in this study uses the product moment correlation. Based on the analysis result so that is obtained correlation between perception towards of transformational leadership style with job satisfaction (r) amount of 0.514 with p = 0.000 where p < 0.01, this means there is a very significant positive relationship between perceptions of transformational leadership style with job satisfaction. This means that the higher the perception towards of transformational leadership style then the higher the job satisfaction on employees, and conversely the lower perceptions of transformational leadership style then also the lower job satisfaction of employees. The empirical mean of the perceptions toward of transformational leadership style variable amount of 83.86 compared with the hypothetic mean amount of 75. So, the empirical mean > hypothetic mean that illustrates that generally employees the Koperasi Bhakti Group, Blora branch have perception towards transformational leadership style is medium. Furthermore the empirical mean of the job satisfaction variable amount of 92.66 with a hypothetic mean amount of 75. So the empirical mean > hypothetic mean. its meaning in generally the employee the Koperasi Bhakti Group, Blora branch have high job satisfaction. The role the perception towards of transformational leadership style against job satisfaction (SE) amount of 26.4%, the means there is still 73.6% other factors beside the perception of transformational leadership style that affect job satisfaction, namely: a good salary, a secure job, co-workers are compact, an appreciation for the job, a job that means.
