Abstract

The objectives of the research are to know: 1) the ffective of book entitled “Panduan Pembelajaran Kebencanaan di Kabupaten Klaten” through numbered head together (NHT) strategy; 2) the result of study after use numbered head together (NHT) strategy. The research method edxperimental design with nonequivalent control group design. The sample are X-TKR-A with 37 students as the control class and X-TPBO with 43 as the experiment class. Control class is using conventional strategy, while the experiment class is using numbered head together (NHT). The technique of data analysis used Wilxocon test and Mann – Whitney test . The results of this study concluded that there is a value change before and after treatment were given through a series of tests. The provision of pre-test before learning the control class get the average value is 72,80 and the experimental class get the average value is 74,74. The average value of post-test assessment in experimental class is 91,00 and the control class get the value is 84,66. This fact prove there is a change in learning outcomes by using teaching materials on disaster learning at Klaten Regency in the hurricane through a strategy numbered head together (NHT) and also the teaching materials are very effective prove that the learning outcomes of students who received grades above KKM or completed Keyword: Efectivity, learning material, numbered head together (NHT) strategy
