Abstract
Pre Menstrual Syndrome (PMS) is a set of physical, psychological and emotional symptoms within6-10 days prior to menstruation. Symptoms caused by pms are breast ain,depression and stomach cramps.Premenstrual syndrome occurs due to an imbalance between the estrogen and progesterone hormone, in which the estrogen hormone was increased.Based on survey, students experienced 72.3%in SMA N Colomadu PMS.. To determine the relationship of intake vitamin B6, calcium and physical activity to the premenstrual syndrome among female students The Colomadu State High School. This research is observational study with cross-sectional design. Total of 52 female studentswho were selected using systemic proportional random sampling of all female students in class XI was recruiteddata on vitamin B6 and calcium Intake. Physical activity and PMS level were obtained using Semi Quantitative Food Frequency, Interview and diary. Data were analyzed using Rank pearman and Pearson Product Moment test. A total of 18 (34,6%) of the subjets experienced moderate PMS levels of 35 subjects (67,3%) have high levels of vitamin B6 intake (more than the RDA recommendition ). 37subjects have low levels of calcium intake (less than the RDA ecommendition). A total of 35 subjecs(67,3%) have sedentary activity. Statistic test showed that there is a elationship of vitamin B6intake to PMS (p=0,002;r=-0,425), Calcium intake to PMS (p=0,004;r=-0,397) and physical Activity to PMS (p=0,002;r=-0,423). There is a relationship of vitamin B6 intake, calcium and pyscal activity to to the premenstrual syndrome among female studentsin SMA N Colomadu
