Abstract
Instructional material is a medium that can be used by a teacher to facilitate adressing of a topic. Instructional material have some weakness on the strategic of organizing, the contents of are not well structured as well as model the less interesting. Teaching learning physics did not conect to daily life situation caused the result of the learning are low. Therefore needed the development of physics contextual module. The research of development module contextual this use the model from Thiagarajan consisting of: 1) define 2) design 3) develop 4) disseminate . Limited class research subjcet is the x tkrd and a large class is x tkrc. The results of the tryouts a large class value postest the average aspects knowledge that is 78,95 with the lowest value 60 and the highest score 90. The amount of students who got kkm about 75 %. The value mean of attitude aspects and skill form learning activities obtained the average score 80 (good). The result of the data so module physics contextual this effective for improve learning outcomes school tuition. The results of the spread of module in physics teachers in eight smk all klaten obtained the average score namely 86 (very good). Eight teachers assessors stated that this module being used for teaching physics in the class. Keywords: contextual, module physics , study results
