Abstract

The aims of this research is to know the influence of the Think Pair Share strategies and Student Teams Achievement Division strategies on mathematics learning outcomes in terms of the interest in learning. This research is a experimental research to treat learning model. The sample of this research is determined by cluster random sampling technique, in order to obtain VII F as the experimental class and VII G as the control class. The instrument of this research used a interest in learning questionnaire and mathematics learning outcomes test. The collected data were analyzed using two way ANOVA and then Sceffe test. The results showed that: (1) there is a influence between Think Pair Share strategies and Student Teams Achievement Division strategies in learning outcomes, with FA = 4,248, (2) there is a influence the interest in learning high, medium, and low in learning outcomes of students who follow learning using Think Pair Share strategies and Student Teams Achievement Division, with FB = 8,174, (3) there is no interaction between Think Pair Share strategies, Student Teams Achievement Division strategies, and interest in learning in learning outcomes mathematics, with FAB = 1,2692.
