Abstract

Retaining wall in the area of RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno was built to prevent the slope behind the building, To maintain the stability of these slopes, a gravity type retaining wall (DPT) was made which was equipped with an alternative reinforcement of the bamboo niche foundation because the location borders the river in order to withstand soil pressure. This research aims to compare SF DPT manual method with Geo5 software and re-plan according to SNI 8468-2017 standard. The results of the analysis of existing conditions without reinforcement (Unsafe) against overturning with SF = 0.89 < 2, stability against shear force (Unsafe) with SF = 1.10 < 2 and against bearing capacity e > e permit 2.26 > 0.2. While the results of the Geo 5 software calculation produce stability (Unsafe) roll with SF 0.86 < 2, stability against shear) with SF 0.96 < 2 while against the bearing capacity with a value of e 0.598 > 0.333. Comparison of manual and software calculations in the existing situation is not safe, it is necessary to use reinforcement of the bamboo niche foundation to increase the bearing capacity of the soil from SF -12.58 to 2.19. However, it is still unsafe as evidenced by the presence of 2 poles / m with a distance between poles of 0.5 m (not according to the standard). So it is necessary to re-plan the DPT according to SNI 8468-2017 by increasing the width of the base of the wall from 1.2 m to 3.36 m without using bamboo pile reinforcement. Getting satisfactory results (Safe) against manual and Geo5 calculations. Manual calculation SF = 2.16 > 2, Geo5 SF = 2.69 > 2, shear stability with manual calculation SF = 2.37 > 2, Geo5 SF = 3.36 > 2 and on the bearing capacity with manual and Geo5 calculation e < e permit manual calculation 0.01 < 0.56 and Geo5 calculation 0.11 < 0.33 (Safe).
