Abstract
This research aims to describe the form of language code for campaign billboards in the Central Java area and its benefits for grade 12 high school learning, find out the denotative and connotative media of political billboards, describe the findings and what implications Indonesian language learning has on the learning of grade 12 high school students. The type of research carried out was descriptive qualitative research to determine the language codes contained in politicians' billboard media. The results of this research data consist of 34 campaign billboards spread across Central Java, consisting of 22 Indonesian language codes and 12 Javanese language codes. The data source was obtained from campaign billboards from various political parties in Indonesia. The implementation of this research can be used as teaching material in understanding and studying Indonesian language lessons by focusing on the material of compiling Indonesian language learning materials
