The research used field observation methods, literature studies, comparative studies, and interviews. Results, the type of building and the location of the building designed must adapt to the local environment because it is located in the Dieng cultural heritage area, namely the Dieng Temple. This design uses the concept of an adaptive architectural approach that adapts to the environment, its inhabitants and its objects. The planning of this area produces an axis in the area that is grouped into several zones. The buildings built adjust to these zones and the existing objects of the area, the area is more organized and orderly for festival activities and tourism on normal days. Adaptive applications are applied to the building mass that adapt to the temple, building materials with local materials and Dieng weather, and showing Dieng biodiversity.
