Abstract

Increasing public interest in attending music concerts in Indonesia, especially in the city of Bandung, which is one of the creative cities that has produced various musicians in the country. The lifestyle of the people of Bandung which cannot be separated from the art of music is one of the supporting factors. However, there are no facilities that can support the increase in the number of people interested in music concerts in Bandung with international standards. The objectives of this design are: 1. selecting a strategic location for the construction of the Bandung International Concert Center, 2. identifying concert facilities in accordance with standards based on user needs, 3. Analyzing user needs in accordance with international standards so that they can meet user needs. The stages carried out in this research are by conducting observations by collecting data, conducting literature studies, conducting comparative studies, analyzing data. The data that has been analyzed is then applied to design implementation in accordance with international standards. The result of this design is a concert center design which will become a concert hall facility with international standards. This design is expected to accommodate the public's high interest in concerts with facilities that comply with international standards and can also increase the existence of music in the city of Bandung.
