Abstract

The PDRB data indicates a significant decline in the economic growth of Magetan Regency in 2020, with a figure of -1.64%, a stark contrast to the previous average of around 5.00% from 2017 to 2019. However, the trend recovered in 2021-2022 with growth around 3.00%, reaching 4.47% in 2023. This issue is also rooted in the community, and the potential is hampered by the lack of collaboration spaces and facilities. A creative hub is expected to help provide and facilitate to meet the needs of the community and the potential of Magetan Regency. The design method includes field observations, comparative studies, literature reviews, data analysis, and design concept implementation. The addition of the Urban Acupuncture concept approach is considered suitable for the creative hub concept in addressing social, economic, and cultural issues in the design area. By emphasizing problem-solving through the Creative Hub project, it is expected to create a vibrant city center in the downtown area with displays and showcases of collaboration.
