Abstract

Gantole tourism has experienced a decrease in the number of visitors caused by a lack of maintenance at tourist sites, especially in the cleaning sector and the marketing sector. As a result, tourists who visit Bukit Joglo get a bad impression and have an impact on tourists who will visit Bukit Joglo which results in reduced attractiveness. The problems found in Bukit Joglo have not been resolved for a long time, therefore this study aims to: 1) Knowing the factors that influence the decline in tourists at Bukit Joglo 2) Assess the condition and development strategy of hang gliding attractions. The method used is a quantitative method with a regional complex geography approach. The analysis used is SWOT analysis to find out the shortcomings and fix the shortcomings or problems that exist, namely by maintaining and adding public facilities that are not yet available. The results of this study are: 1) Low human resources, the lack of effectiveness of Bukit Joglo due to dirty and accumulated garbage, inadequate and damaged public facilities, the distance between tourist sites and surrounding cities / outside the area, the lack of coordination between field officers and management officers. 2) Improve the quality of human resources as promoters of competitive, innovative and creative tourism development and improve the quality of objects, by utilizing the potential of existing natural resources while still paying attention to the quality of tourism.
