Abstract

This research aims to find out what strategies are needed to increase sales of Mie Sentosa UMS branches using SWOT analysis, by knowing the variables that are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by the company. The data used comes from direct interviews with the owner of the Mie Sentosa shop. SWOT analysis requires determining the IFE and EFE matrices. The purpose of the IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) Matrix is to determine the company's strengths and weaknesses, while the EFE (External Factor Evaluation) Matrix is used to identify the company's external factors. In the proposed sales strategy using the SWOT matrix, there are 4 proposed strategies, namely the SO Strategy is to use strengths to take advantage of opportunities, the WO Strategy is to minimize weaknesses to take advantage of opportunities, the ST Strategy is to use strengths to overcome threats, and the WT Strategy is to minimize weaknesses and avoid potential threats. There is. The results of the research using the IFE & EFE matrix and applied using a Cartesian diagram resulted in an The company's position is in a position that is still profitable and is still in the growth stage, so the right strategy to use is an aggressive growth policy strategy (Growth Oriented Strategy).
