Abstract

The decline in rubber quality and yield occurred at the Ngargoyoso Kampung Karet Agrotourism. Visitors to the Puntukrejo Kampung Karet Agrotourism, Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar also decreased. One of the factors in the decline in the number of visitors is due to the transition period after Covid-19, in addition to the incomplete facilities in the agrotourism area, which is also one of the reasons for the decline in visitors. The Kampung Karet Agrotourism area is located in a strategic location, in addition to the attractive view, there are many village potentials that support the development of agrotourism. The objectives of the design are: 1. Developing the Kampung Karet Ngargoyoso agrotourism area, Karanganyar with a permaculture concept approach so that it can form permanent agriculture; 2. Adding agrotourism facilities in accordance with the standards and regulations set by the government.The stages of the Kampung Karet Agrotourism design method are: 1. Literature study; 2. Comparative study; 3. Data and Concept Analysis; 4. Concept Development and Application; 5. Concept development and application. The development of this agrotourism uses the concept of permaculture which is in line with the principles of agrotourism, namely maintaining natural resources so that they can restore the surplus of life. Creating a space that is in harmony with nature so as not to damage the ecosystem, using natural materials, waste recycling planning and creating mutual symbiosis for humans and other living things. Based on this explanation, the concept of permaculture can be a solution for the development of Kampung Karet Agrotourism.
