Abstract
The purpose of this final assignment report is to determine the effect of implementing the independent entrepreneurship program in collaboration with Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta on fostering students' entrepreneurial intentions, with a focus on increasing independence, creativity and flexibility in facing changing times. In the context of an increasingly complex economy and increasingly fierce competition, it is important for students to acquire entrepreneurial skills in order to create jobs and increase income. Through this program, students are given direct experience in the business world through a series of activities such as workshops, internships at MSMEs, making product prototypes, preparing business proposals, pitching and expos. Within a period of five months, program participants are equipped with various important knowledge and skills in running and developing a business, and are encouraged to implement these concepts in the products or businesses they develop. The results show that this program has succeeded in increasing students' entrepreneurial interest and intentions, providing direct experience in the business world, and developing independent, creative and adaptive attitudes towards change. Apart from providing benefits to students, this program also has a positive impact on the surrounding community by encouraging local business development and economic growth. It is hoped that by participating in this program students will be able to consider entrepreneurship as a career choice after graduating and become job creators who contribute to economic development.
