Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic situation has increased the burden on working women who have children and will affect subjective well-being. The behavior of helping others can have a strong influence on increasing individual happiness. Spirituality makes life more meaningful so that individuals avoid stress and depression. Then the individual's personality is able to influence the individual's view of a problem so that it can have an impact on his subjective well-being. This research is confirmatory in nature with the aim of determining the role of altruism, Islamic spirituality and the big five personalities on the subjective well-being of working mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected using the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and Positive And Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), the altruism scale, the Multidimensional Measure of Islamic Spirituality (MMS) scale, and the Big Five Inventory (BFI) scale. The population in this study was 4,375 people with a sample size of 323 people. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling. Data analysis through Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares approach (SEM-PLS) using the smartPLS 3 program. The research results show that altruism, Islamic spirituality, and the five big personality dimensions contribute significantly to the subjective well-being 2 of working mothers during the pandemic with a significant level <0.05 and has an effective contribution of 11% with the largest effect size, namely personality, at 3%. The implication of this research is that companies where you work can provide counseling services for employees who need them.
