Abstract

In line with the strengthening of infrastructure and environmental developments, public transportation is now a top priority. To develop public transportation, improvements are made that support infrastructure for public transportation, especially on railways. This research was carried out to design Solo City Station as a place for tourism and education for both the people of Solo and outside Solo. The method used to design Solo City Station was Infill Design, so that the old shape of the building which has strong historical value remains intact and additions The new building can be adapted to whatever facilities are needed to support the progress of Solo City Station. The stages carried out in this research are collecting data, processing it, observing, documenting and analyzing the data in order to determine which form should be maintained and developed. The data that has been processed is then linked to the approach concept, namely infill design. The result of this plan is the addition of a new building mass and the addition of new functions to the station, namely the addition of a new building mass and the addition of an educational gallery. The planning results are expected to improve existing facilities at Solo Kota Station, apart from that it can also optimize existing land.
