Abstract
Chili (Capsicum Annum L) is a highly desirable crop in Indonesia due to its high economic value. Chili requires optimal conditions for growth. A constant temperature between 24°C to 28°C, air humidity around ±80% Rh, and soil moisture in the range of 50% to 70% are important factors. This research utilizes the concept of smart farming that monitors soil moisture, air humidity, and temperature, and controls devices such as watering water pumps, humidity water pumps, and fans automatically. The system uses an ESP32 microcontroller integrated with WiFi, and an Android application developed with Blynk. The research method applied is quantitative with a focus on observation and data collection of soil moisture, temperature, and air humidity values. The test results show that the system is able to manage growing conditions very well, with an average temperature value difference of only 0.16°C and a humidity value difference of about 6.29% with an average error of 9.32%. During the three-day trial period, the device successfully controlled the growth conditions of the chili plants as expected and displayed the sensor readings accurately through the Blynk application.
