Abstract

This research aims to analyze the way gender inequality is reflected in the novel Bridgerton: The Duke and I which was published in 2000 by Julia Quinn and to identify the types of gender inequality in the novel Bridgerton: The Duke and I. This research used qualitative method to describe the research. This research used Mary Wollstonecraft's theory in the scope of feminism including the types of gender inequality and the way gender inequality is reflected in the novel Bridgerton. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, the results obtained show that there is gender inequality, types of gender inequality, and their impacts using a feminist perspective.
