Abstract
During the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, the creative economy became a mainstay sector in national economic recovery. Currently the government fully supports the growth of the creative economy ecosystem in Indonesia, starting from the budget provided to programs/policies related to the Creative Economy itself, one of which is by establishing a creative hub or creative center as a forum for creative economic actors in each area. area. The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Serang City as the capital of Banten Province is ranked second highest of the four other cities (Central Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Surabaya) which are provincial capitals on the island of Java. The city of Serang is often considered still not ideal if it is considered a provincial capital. However, apart from that, the city of Serang itself has creative economic potential, but this potential cannot yet be utilized better. One way to overcome the issues above is to involve the creative economy ecosystem in the city of Serang and plan architectural projects that aim to empower the creative economy and increase public appreciation for various sub-sectors of the creative economy in the city of Serang. The approach taken is a creative hub and biophilic design approach. Biophilic design itself was formulated to increase the performance, inspiration and productivity of its users by building a space in balance with nature. This also intersects with buildings full of high productivity and creative activities such as the Creative Hub built environment. The site is located in the center of Serang city, namely the Sumurpecung area, Kec. Serang, Serang City. This area was chosen based on its location in the urban area of Serang City, apart from being located close to the targeted creative economy communities, around the site there are buildings that support the creation of a Creative Hub, such as educational facilities, economic facilities and others.
