Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) a positive and significant effect on the peer environment on the learning achievement of Class X Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. (2) a positive and significant effect on learning styles on the learning achievement of Class X Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. (3) a positive and significant effect of peer environment and learning style on the learning achievement of Class X Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. This study uses quantitative methods and ex post facto research design. The population in this study were Class X Accounting Students at SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo in the 2022/2023 school year totaling 107 students and a sample of 84 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of data analysis, the multiple linear regression line equation is obtained as follows Y = 66.526 - 0.003X1 + 0.482X2. The equation proves that learning achievement is influenced by peer environment and learning style. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: (1) peer environment has a negative and insignificant effect on learning achievement. This is based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis (t test) that tcount < t table of -0.032 < 1.989 and a significant value> 0.05, namely 0.974. (2) learning style has a positive and significant effect on learning achievement. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) that tcount> ttable of 3.865> 1.989 and a significant value <0.05, namely 0.000. (3) peer environment and learning style have a positive and significant effect on learning achievement. This is based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis (F test) that Fcount> Ftable of 7.698> 3.11 and significant <0.05, namely 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.160 or 16%. This implies that 84% of the variance in the dependent variable is explained by other factors not discussed in this study.
