Abstract
The appearance of land use changes based on time, namely the state of the appearance of land use or its position changes in a certain period of time. Changes that occur due to the appearance of land area that may increase, decrease or remain inseparable from the characteristics of the people of South Tambun Subdistrict in meeting the needs of life in the form of primary and secondary needs. The objectives of this study are (1) to map land use and land use changes in 2014 and 2020, (2) to determine the accuracy value of the results of visual interpretation of land use in 2020 in South Tambun Subdistrict using Pleiades imagery, and (3) to evaluate the suitability of land use in 2020 against the RDTR of South Tambun Subdistrict. The method used in this research is analysis in the form of overlay techniques. The parameters used are the actual land use map in 2014 and 2020 with a detailed spatial plan map that has been prepared by the Bekasi Regency Government. The results showed that during the period of 6 years, South Tambun Sub-district experienced land use changes of 478.89 ha and the remaining 3,918.26 ha was land that did not change during that period. The accuracy value of the visual interpretation of land use in 2020 in South Tambun Sub-district obtained a fairly high accuracy value of 91%. The suitability of land use in 2020 against RDTR in South Tambun Sub-district is divided into two suitability classes, namely the suitable class which has an area of 1,868 ha with a percentage of 42.49% and the unsuitable class has an area of 2,528.83 ha with a percentage of 57.51%.
