Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Shopping Lifestyle and Self Control on Student Impulsive Buying. The subjects of this research were Muhammadiyah University Surakarta students starting from the 2019-2022 class, with 129 respondents taking samples using the cluster random sampling method. In this research, it is known that there is a relationship between shopping lifestyle and self-control towards impulsive buying. Data collection uses a shopping lifestyle scale, a self-control scale, and an impulsive buying scale. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Analysis using SPSS 23.0. Based on the two independent variables (Shopping lifestyle and self control) and the dependent variable (Impulsive buying) after the results of the analysis it was found that the coefficient value was Fcount = 52.939 with a significance of p = 0,000 (p <0.05). Through the test results it is known that there is a significant correlation between the independent variables and the dependent variable in students of the 2019-2022 class.
