Abstract

towards mastery of material changes into an approach that focuses on developing 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. The purpose of this study is to analyze, identify, and describe the use of a multiliteracy learning model that integrates critical thinking in learning Indonesian at SDIT Nurhidayah Surakarta. The research method uses a qualitative phenomenological methodology to approach this research with observation, interviews as data collection techniques and thematic analysis as the method of analysis. The stages in this activity are analyzed in order to explore relevant findings related to how the application of a multiliteracy learning model that integrates critical thinking can contribute to realizing 21st century skills in Indonesian language subjects in elementary schools. The research focus is on three main phases in the multiliteracy learning model, namely the pre-activity phase, the activity phase, and the post-activity phase. The results of the study show that teachers at SDIT Nurhidayah have succeeded in implementing a multiliteracy learning model that integrates critical thinking in learning Indonesian. The pre-phase activity involves teacher preparation for the introduction of multiliteracy concepts, the activity phase involves student interaction with multiliteracy and the application of critical thinking skills, and the post-activity phase involves reflection and consolidation of learning. The use of this multiliteracy learning model can help students develop their critical thinking skills in understanding and producing multiliterate texts, which in turn can improve literacy skills and 21st century students' skills, such as communicating effectively, solving problems, and developing their creativity.
