Abstract

The students implanting of religious character values is essential because of the disproportionate attitude and behavior among the students. The implantation of religious character in the student is also a manifestation of the first Pancasila precepts in which religious morality and spirituality act as the essential foundation for a country’s integrity and continuity. The practice of Qur’an literacy and Hadits is an effective way of implanting religious character values into the students souls. The purpose of this study is to describe the practice of the Qur’an literacy program and Hadits and the application of the Qur’an literation program and Hadits as an effort to implanting the value of the students religious character at the State High School of 3 Sukoharjo. This type of research is field research, using case study approaches. As for the collection of data using observation, interview, and documentary methods. Whereas data analysis uses Miles and Huberman interactive model analysis: data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. The results of this study are obtained by making direct observations in the field which is the first implementation of the Qur’an literacy program and Hadits and the second result of the student’s implanting value of religious character through the Qur’an literacy program and Hadits. The result of this studies show that the Qur’an and Hadits literacy programs are capable of instilling the value of students’ religious characters at state high school 3 Sukoharjo class 2022/2023. The Qur’an’s and Hadits literacy program is able to nurture a student’s motivation in reading the Qur’an, the rising culture of students toward parents and teachers and the love of their peers. Additionally, growing value in students includes discipline, religiosity, honesty, higher religious consciousness, and also increased knowledge. In other ways the hadith literacy usage also encourages the student’s religious character fond of reading and understanding the prophet Hadits and attaching the students to the prophet.
