Abstract

This study focuses on a female character named Belle Williams, this study was conducted to analyze the female character Belle Williams who is a unique character in this film and is different from other characters and Belle Williams has a masculine demeanor. The Researcher uses a qualitative descriptive approach and library reasearch as method of collecting data. The material object used in this research is the TAXI 2004 Movie. The researcher then analyzing the data using the masculine theory. Method of Analyzing Data is the process to find and arrange the data systematically, by organizing the data into categories, describing the data into unit, arranging the data into pattern, and making conclusion. The result of the reasearch showed that Belle shows a woman is capable of exhibiting masculine characteristics. Masculine characteristics dominate Belle's identity as a woman. Belle is categorized as a masculine female as a result. Therefore, we might conclude that there are females who show characteristics related to masculinity. Key words: Film, Masculinity, woman
