Abstract

This research was written by the author based on my interest in the Brett Haley Movie, All Together Now (2020). This study was conducted to analyze the prominent psychological side possessed by Amber Appleton as the main character in the film All Together Now. There are two points discussed in this study, first, what are the indicators of superiority found in Amber Appleton, and how Amber Appleton's character depicted in the film. In analysing the character’s of Amber Appleton, the researcher will apply Adler's perspective regarding personality psychology. This research method is qualitative. In addition, there are two types of data sources, primary data is All Together Now Movie by Brett Haley and secondary data is books, journals, official websites related to research. From the results of the study it was found in the main character Amber Appleton there are seven indicators: underprivileged, fighting soul, Reliable person, hard worker, an extrovert, simple lifestyle, creative person. The researcher related the seven indicators to the Adler’s principles of personality.
