Abstract

This research serves to determine the causes of damage to the oil cooler and the impact resulting from damage to the oil cooler, as well as to find out how to repair the oil cooler on the Komatsu WA 350 -3 wheel loader unit. In this study, the method used is disassembly and assembly in which this method disassembles and reassembles components to make it easier or to find out the damage that has occurred to the radiator. the results of the study found that there was a problem or damage to the wheel loader unit komatsu wa 350-3 which was found in the radiator, namely in the radiator core section. damage that occurs in the radiator is cooling water mixed with oil. The damage that occurs can be very fatal, if it is not known from the start, the engine can overheat. Leaks occur in the cooling system due to unstable pressure differences, cooling media that is not in accordance with the SOP and from the age of the component itself. The corrective steps taken were repairing the radiator core and replacing the lower radiator tank.
