Abstract

One of the supporting activities in schools that utilize the internet is Information and Communication (ICT), for example school websites, multimedia-based learning media that support the creation of interactive learning. Everyone has abilities, it can even be said to have their own weaknesses and strengths. In general, every teacher does not fully understand the education of children with special needs and disabilities in this era of advanced education. Some teachers do not master the characteristics and types of special needs and disability students, because the schools these teachers teach do not provide self-development training, so many teachers enrich themselves by reading from online media, books or asking friends. Therefore, this research will discuss the development of an e-learning website as a new learning media for teachers and students with disabilities. The research method used in this research is R&D (Research and Development), a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these methods. The data collection process was carried out by means of observation, questionnaire, and interview techniques. Data calculation is carried out based on the waterfall research model, which consists of: (1) Communication (2) Planning (3) Modeling (4) Construction (5) Deployment. The results showed that the data from the Media Expert obtained an average of 4.6 which was categorized as "Very Good", while the results of research by users (teachers and students) obtained an average score of 4.5 and 4.1 which was categorized as "Very Good".
