Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Describe the planning of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo, (2) Describe the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo, (3) Describe the evaluation of the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo, and (4) Describe the gaps in the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo. This research is an evaluative discrepancy model. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques,documentation, and observation. The data were analyzed by reducing data, presenting, and feasibility statistics which were then drawn conclusions. The research found that: (1) The planning for the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo has been structured in such a way that it includes the vision, mission, goals, targets, facilities, infrastructure, program financing and matters relating to the method of achieving them, ( 2) Implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo has been carried out according to the established method. There is still a need for improvement steps in program achievement so that the program's vision, mission and objectives can be achieved properly, (3) The evaluation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar–Risalah Sukoharjo has been carried out with standard changes from first year to year next, with: (a) The first year of the implementation of a new evaluation on the aspects of the number of memorization and fluency of pronunciation, (b) The second year of implementation of the evaluation has aspects on the number of memorization, fluency of pronunciation, fashahah, and tajwid. Improvements are still needed in the implementation of the evaluation, especially on administrative completeness, and (4) There are gaps in the Tahfizhul Qur'an Program at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo in: (a) Discrepancies in the suitability of the curriculum for the Tahfizhul Qur'an program at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo according to The 2013 curriculum was in the moderate category of 17.5%, (b) The discrepancy in the suitability of the implementation of the Tahfizhul Qur'an program at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo according to the 2013 Curriculum was in the high category of 20.8%, (c) The discrepancy in the suitability of asatidzah qualifications and competencies ( tahfizh teacher) at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo according to Ministerial Decree No. 16 of 2007 concerning Academic Qualifications and Teacher Competency in the moderate category of 10.9%, (d) Discrepancy in the suitability of the implementation of tahfizh evaluation at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo according to the 2013 Curriculum in the high category of 20.24%, (e) Discrepancy in conformity of output Tahfizhul Qur'an program at SMPIT Ar-Risalah Sukoharjo according to Vision, Mission, and Program Objectives with the category very high at 70.00%.
