Abstract

The purpose to be achieved by doing this research is to analyze the factors that influence the Underpricing of shares in companies that conduct Initial Public Offerings or IPOs in 2021. The factors analyzed in this study are the Debt to Equity ratio (DER), Underwriter's Reputation, Company Age, Return on Equity (ROE), Company Size, and Percentage of Share Offered. This research used quantitative research because it refers to the calculation of research data in the form of numbers and analysis using statistics. The population used in this study are all companies that do Initial Public Offerings in 2021 as many as 53 companies. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling method, and which met the criteria of 45 companies as samples in this study. By using SPSS software, the data analysis method used consists of : classical assumption test analysis, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. Debt to Equity ratio (DER) has no effect and no significant impact on stock Underpricing. Underwriter reputation has no effect and is not significant to stock Underpricing. Company age has no effect and no significance on stock Underpricing. Return on Equity (ROE) has a significant effect on stock Underpricing. Company size has no effect and no significant impact on stock Underpricing. Percentage of Share Offered has no effect and is not significant on stock Underpricing.
