Abstract

The aims of this research is to know: (1) develop an exogenous energy process enrichment book for flood disasters for class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo, (2) find out the feasibility of learning enrichment books as learning media on exogenous energy process materials for floods. . This type of research is research and development that adopts the Borg and Gall model. The respondents of this study were 36 students of class X IPS 2 and 1 teacher of Geography at SMA Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is descriptive. The learning media developed were then assessed for their feasibility by material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. The results of this research is 1) The criteria for developing enrichment books that students wanted consisted of 4 aspects, material aspects, presentation, linguistic, and graphic, 2) Enrichment book learning media have met the eligibility criteria based on the assessment of material expert get a score of 4.3 in the "very good" category, based on the assessment of media experts get a score of 4.2 in the "very good" category. Based on an assessment questionnaire from a geography teacher, a score of 4.5 was in the "very good" category, while based on a student questionnaire, a score of 4.05 was in the "good" category. This indicates that the learning media for enrichment book are worth using as the initial basis for disaster knowledge.
