Abstract

COVID-19 has attached Indonesia for almost 2 years which has disrupted community activities wgich have resulted in students having to study online. Study online makes students sit in nonergonomic position, which can result in low back pain (LBP). Purpose of the study were to determine whether or not there was an effect of sitting position on cases of low back pain in online students at the University of Indonesia. The researcher used descriptive analytic studies with a cross sectional approach method. Population this study were 3rd level physiotherapy students at the University of Indonesia. The sample in this study amounted to 40 respondents from 72 students who were in accordance with using consecutive sampling. This study uses the chi-square test with the result of p value 0,006 < 0,05, which can be concluded that there is an Effect Of Sitting Position On Cases Of Low Back Pain in Online Students at The University of Indonesia.
