Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style, communication and motivation on the performance of student organizations at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. In this study transformational leadership style, communication and motivation as independent variables. For the dependent variable is the performance of the student organization management of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. This type of research is quantitative research, with a population of 18-23 years old student organization management group of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. Samples were taken randomly totaling 150 administrators of student organizations. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. In this study using multiple linear regression analysis and data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires conducted online. Based on the results of data processing with the help of the SPSS version 26 application, it was obtained through t-test the results that the transformational leadership style variable had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the student organization management at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The communication variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the student organization management at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the student organization management at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta.
