Abstract
Abstract This study aims to describe the form of lingual markers in Ustad Millenial films and to describe the relevance of Ustad Millennial films as a source of learning Indonesian at the high school level. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the lingual markers in the Millennial Ustad film and its relevance as a source of learning Indonesian. The results showed that 64 data were obtained in which there was an analysis of speech acts and an analysis related to the linguistic rules in the Millennial Ustad film. There are six forms of speech acts in his presentation, namely assertive, directive, declarative, commissive, expressive, and rogative speech acts, while the second part is about linguistic rules consisting of the use of direct sentences, greeting words, temporal conjunctions, exclamations, mental verbs. , pronouns, non-standard words, event verbs, and adjectives. As for its relevance as a source of learning Indonesian, that is, the application of film media as a learning resource can refer to the enthusiasm of students in studying Indonesian language lessons, especially in da'wah material which is in accordance with basic competencies based on the 2013 curriculum, to be precise, for high school class XI. The related basic competence is KD 3.19 which essentially learns the use of linguistic rules in dramas that are read or watched.
