Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe 1). Learning strategies applied to improve the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. 2). Constraints faced during the implementation of the Covid-19 pandemic learning strategy 3). The role of parents in implementing learning strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Collecting data in this study using interviews and documentation. Interviews were used to obtain data and information regarding learning strategies during the pandemic, the constraints applied during the implementation of learning strategies, and the role of parents in implementing learning strategies. Documentation is in the form of supporting files from the results of interviews that have been carried out. Sources of data in this study were principals, teachers, and guardians of students at Pertiwi Suwatu Kindergarten. The results of this study are 1). The learning strategy carried out by teachers to improve the learning process during the pandemic is online and offline learning strategies with face-to-face at schools but with half the capacity of usual and still complying with health protocols. 2). The application of bold and captivating learning strategies poses several obstacles, the obstacles faced are when bold learning starts from unstable internet signals and parents who are less cooperative in the ongoing learning process. 3). The role of parents today is the most important thing for the success of learning during the pandemic, parents will act as substitute teachers when implementing bold learning strategies at this time.
