Abstract

The final project report discusses the activities when carrying out an internship at PT Pegadaian (Persero), Surakarta Area Office. This internship program activity is a manifestation of the Ministry of SOE being present for the country which aims to provide an overview of the real world of work practices to students about global competition and facing future job challenges. In addition to this, it is to find out the work pattern at PT Pegadaian (Persero) and can be implemented properly and correctly in the future. The internship is carried out for 6 months starting from 01 September 2020 to 26 February 2021. The basic methods used in this report are Observation, Field Practice, Interview and Case Study. This report reviews the implementation of the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), where PT Pegadaian (Persero) is a company engaged in financial services with its main business line, namely the pawn business which is competent and has high integrity. so it is important to have good corporate governance to gain customer trust. The result of the internship practice that has been carried out is that students gain experience working in companies, and also know the importance of implementing Good Corporate Governance (GCG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in a company in dealing with stakeholders and other interested parties in the company.
