Abstract

This study aims (1) to describe the interaction of learning in accounting classes at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. (2) Describe how to establish a good relationship between teachers and students in the accounting class at SMK Negeri 6 Surakarta. Type of qualitative research. The research design uses an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity is done by source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques using an interactive model with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) teachers and students alike have an activeness in the learning process, the teacher is actively teaching and students are physically and psychologically integrated in the lesson. The quality of learning interactions is influenced by the intensity of communication that occurs between the teacher and students. (2) the teacher is able to position themselves as friends and friends for students in the ups and downs of learning and understand how to provide solutions to learning problems. Personal closeness is important in learning, the teacher is able to eliminate psychological barriers that inhibit student curiosity, students are comfortable to consult, ask questions, and tell the difficulties of learning.
