Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of each need for achievement, need for power and need for affiliation on accounting learning outcomes of trading companies in class XI SMK Batik 2 Surakarta in 2020 and the influence of all three together. The research design used is a census quantitative design that takes a sample and population using a questionnaire as a primary data collection tool. The population in this study were 30 students of class XI SMK Batik 2 Surakarta in 2020 in which the entire population became respondents. Data collection techniques used were by taking samples and populations using a questionnaire. Analysis of research data using analysis prerequisite tests include normality test, linearity test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. Furthermore, a multiple regression test includes a validity test and a reliability test. The results of the study show that, Need For Achievement and Need For Power affect the accounting learning outcomes of trading companies in class XI SMK Batik 2 Surakarta 2020 in the portal while Need For Affiliation has no effect. Furthermore, the F test was carried out on Need For Achievement (X1), Need for Power (X2) and Need For Affiliation (X3) together and the results were found that X1, X2, and X3 had an influence on Accounting Learning Results XI SMK Batik 2 Surakarta 2020 (Y). Therefore increasing student motivation to be able to influence the learning outcomes, in practice students play a role of encouragement from various parties both from the family, the environment or from the school by increasing guidance and direction and support in achieving optimal learning outcomes.
