Abstract

Suboptimal results against students learning the lesson of biology because learning is still using conventional methods, therefore, the need for learning media development. This research aims to know the development, the feasibility and effectiveness of the use of web-based interactive learning media as learning the subjects biology in grade VII junior high school. The research method used is a Research and Development (R&D) using the model development of ADDIE. Development of this web-based interactive learning media as a medium in Biology learning activities through the stages of needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques are used in the form of observation, interview, questionnaire, and post-test. Engineering analysis is the analysis of the feasibility and preliminary data by using test of normality, the final data analysis by calculating the average value of the acquisition class control and class-circling. This indicates that the Penelitia assessment of incoming media expert on decent category with an average rating of 67% and an assessment by experts of incoming material in the category is well worth the value of the average 84.34%, and on the assessment by the respondent/incoming students category very much agree with the average value of 89.2%. Based on the average value between the control and the control class has namely circling the average value of 60 circling class and has an average rating of 80, which means that there is a difference in the results of the study on the control class and class-circling. Thus it was concluded that a web-based interactive learning media being used effectively to improve understanding and student learning outcomes.
