Abstract

Background: The incidence of postpartum depression is quite high in Asia. The largest percentage occurs when they have their first child and have a family history of mood disorders. Various influencing factors are thought to be the cause of the problem, such as age, economic status and employment. Purpose: This study was to determine the factors that can influence the incidence of postpartum depression, so that it can be done immediately to treat postpartum depression. Methods: Literature search was carried out through the Google Scholar search engine, Garuda Ristekbrin and Openknowledge. Keywords: postpartum depression, postpartum depression, risk factors used to track original research articles and literature reviews in English and Indonesian that can be accessed openly (open access). Results: 11 articles were selected about factors that influence the incidence of postpartum depression consisting of 3 articles of age factors, 2 articles of economic status, 2 articles of husband's support, 2 articles of employment and 2 articles of type of delivery. Conclusion: the writing of a literature study obtained from various literatures shows that the factors that can influence the incidence of postpartum depression are age, economic status, husband's support, occupation and type of delivery
