Abstract

Self-Acceptance is a condition where a person has an ability to accept theirself. The aim of this research is to get the picture of self-acceptanc on marriage couples who haven’t got any child and to knowing the push-factors on their acceptance from the psychology and Islamic study perspective. This study used qualitative-phenomenology method and the data is being collected by interview. There are four respondents in this study which are choosen by purposive sampling method. This study shows that self-acceptance on wives with marriage without child is a dynamic process which at 5-10 years of marriage being the most difficult time for them. But the process of self-acceptance will be easier as times goes by. The dominant factors which drives the self-acceptance on wives in marriage without child are a realistic hope and a self-understanding.
