Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries whose territory is prone to natural disasters such as geological and hydrometeorological hazards. Hydrometeorological disasters rank first in a disaster that often occurs in Indonesia. Banjarsari Subdistrict, especially in the Sumber Village, frequent floods due to overflowing of the Pepe River and Kali Gajah Putih for example in 2009 and 2015. As a result of the disaster many affected residents were displaced. The purpose of this study was to find out about flooding prone areas based on Participatory GIS (PGIS), analyzing the potential of evacuation shelter and evacuation routes for floods in the Sumber Village. The method used is survey and census on the object of research. The method of sample collection is done by purposive sampling technique. Primary data is taken from aerial photographs using a drone and then identified. Flood hazard analysis used the PGIS technique Analysis and analysis of determining temporal protection templates and evacuation designs using the scoring method and accessibility modelling (cost distance). Based on the results obtained by flood-prone areas in the east of Sumber Village, an area of 39.35 ha. Flood-prone areas are in RW 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6. There are 13 locations of public facilities that have the potential as evacuation shelter, namely in the Rohmah Mosque, Hamzah Bin Abdul Muhtholib Mosque, Masyithoh Mosque, Ar-Rahman Mosque, GBI Sumber Tirtayasa, SDN Sumber 3, STIE Wijaya Mulya, Surakarta BK Vocational School, Sumber Village Office, SDN 2 Sumber, SDN 1 Sumber, SDN 4 Sumber, and Graha Saba Buana. Then there are 4 evacuation blocks and 8 best evacuation routes for evacuation due to the flood disaster.
