Abstract
This study aims to describe 1. Utilization of living pharmacy parks and 2. Impact of the use of living pharmacy parks as an effort to optimize the character of student responsibility at the Boyolali Tegalmuncar Sawit Elementary School. This study uses qualitative research methods and phenomenological research designs. The technique of collecting data is done by interviews, observation, and documentation. The validity of the data used is triangulation. Data analysis techniques use Interactive Model analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that: 1. Utilization of a living pharmacy park includes: a. As an ingredient in traditional medicine, which is for example turmeric plants that have uses to reduce heat, ginger which can reduce cholesterol levels, kencur is used for cough medicine, ginger is usually made drinks to warm the body; b. Drugs that are cheap and easily available and have small side effects, among others, are herbs of kencur rice which are made from kencur, then dried and boiled ginger can be used as medicine for hepatitis, etc. 2 The impact of utilizing a living pharmacy park includes: a. Students can be trusted when given the responsibility of caring for living pharmacy plants, students do their obligations well not carelessly while caring for the park, students take care of the park in earnest, invite other friends to water together; b. Students carry out the routine tasks of caring for a living pharmacy plant without having to be told, Students carry out tasks according to a schedule that has been made without having to be instructed by the teacher, when the schedule for caring for students comes to school early. Watering plants in turns and fairly divided the parts that must be treated.
